I met Robbyn and Spencer along with Robbyn’s mother and her best-friend/bride’s-maid in Ogden, Utah for a bridal/groomal session a few weeks ago. We started a little late and it was getting dark quickly. I think we walked away with some of my all-time favorite bridal session images.

I met up with Niecha in Ogden a few weeks ago for her senior session. It was early on a Saturday morning and a little bit chilly. We talked about life and captured some great moments. It is so fun getting to know someone that is at this turning point in life. Leaving high school and starting into a life that will change so rapidly. I remember back when I finished high school and started down the path to the life that I now have. I am a lucky man to be where I am and have such great and wonderful people in my life. I wish the best for Niecha and I see greatness in her future.

I received an email from a past wedding photography client today that warmed my heart. I really liked working with Amanda and Jeremy. They have so much style. The email is below but I just wanted to point out how nice it is for them, after several years, they still have online access to their pictures and are able to order and re-order as they like.

Thank you both for making my day better 🙂
Good morning, Tyson! I don’t know if you remember Jeremy and I, but you photographed our wedding on April 25, 2009 at St. Joe’s Church in Ogden. We were wanting to view the pictures again as I want to order a few more, but I don’t know our password. Can you email it to me perhaps?

Also, I wanted to let you know that the “antique” photo you took of us (with Jeremy in the chair and myself standing next to him) always gets tons of compliments. We hung it in the entryway to our home in Las Vegas, and people always stop to admire it. It hangs next to the wedding photo of my great-great grandparents, and is exactly what we wanted. I can’t tell you how much that still means to myself and my family to have that portrait.

I hope your business is doing very well, and that you’re still enjoying being a (fantastic!) wedding photographer. I wish you all the best, and again, thank you for being there to capture our wedding.

Love,
Amanda

I met Chelsey and Seth at the Ogden Union Station Saturday morning. It had snowed a lot over night. I always go into situations like that hoping that we can make it work. I think we did okay. They were freezing the whole time and Seth spent most of the morning carrying Chelsey on his back so that her frozen feet would not get more wet than they did. He was a trooper and so was she. It was fun getting to know them. Chelsey likes to ride horses and Seth likes to play football and run. It looked to me like they were a perfect match and completely in love. I was honored to be their photographer. On to the pictures.

Had a great time with Dillon and Courtnie in downtown Ogden. We met at the train station and hung out for a while. The lighting was great. I love sunset light.
